Nick Catone was desired to face Aaron Simpson at the occurrence but was required off the card with an injury and replaced by Eric Schafer.Dave Herman was scheduled to fight Mike Russow at the event, but the bout was cancelled after Herman failed his preliminary drug test in which he tested positive for marijuana.
